Amanda and Dan celebrated their wedding at Grand Hotel des Iles Borromées & SPA, a grand lakeside estate known for its Belle Époque architecture, landscaped gardens, and uninterrupted views of Lake Maggiore. Their vision centered around a refined sage-green palette accented with white florals, a design that felt perfectly aligned with the hotel’s classic Italian character.

The wedding design centered around sage green, gentle neutrals, and white florals - tones drawn from Italian stone, garden leaves, and soft evening light. From stationery to table settings, every detail followed this palette with quiet precision.

The atmosphere remained polished yet warm, elevated without excess, creating a sense of ease and thoughtful coordination from ceremony through celebration.

Wedding Day

Amanda got ready surrounded by morning light filtering through the hotel’s ornate windows. She stepped into a Pronovias gown – graceful and timeless. The silhouette felt modern, yet perfectly in harmony with the historic setting. With soft styling and natural elegance, her look carried a confidence that needed no embellishment.

Ceremony

The ceremony took place outdoors along the lakefront, framed by a floral installation in muted greens and whites. Chairs faced the water, musicians played violin, and the breeze carried the quiet hum of the lake. When Amanda walked toward Dan, time seemed to slow – not in drama, but in clarity.

Their vows felt honest, grounded, and deeply personal. After the ceremony, the couple boarded a wooden boat for portraits on the lake, the mountains rising quietly behind them.

Evening

Guests gathered beneath chandeliers for the reception, where the sage palette continued through textured florals and curated details. A green tiered cake stood as an elegant focal point. Live musicians, singers, and violinists carried the rhythm of the night while the dance floor stayed full until late. It was a celebration defined by style, energy, and thoughtful balance.

The night closed with a celebration that felt both refined and alive. Laughter carried across the terrace, music layered with sounds of glasses clinking, and the lake reflected the glow of the hotel façade. Amanda and Dan’s vision – structured, stylish, and rooted in place – found its perfect rhythm on Lake Maggiore.

Wedding Welcome

The weekend began with an elegant wedding welcome event set in soft pink tones. The atmosphere was relaxed yet polished – candlelit tables and floral centerpieces in rose created an inviting setting. Musicians played violin and saxophone, guests danced, and Amanda and Dan shared pasta from an oversized pan – a playful, unforgettable start to a weekend defined by celebration and connection.

Each vendor was genuine and kind, they care about making your day perfect and go above and beyond to make that happen. They give you options you wouldn’t have thought of and guide you every step of the way. We were blown away by the high quality of work.

Our guests flew to Italy from LA, NYC, London, Austin and SF and truly have not been able to stop talking about the entire weekend. Thank you, thank you for making our dreams come true!!
