Framed by the grandeur of Villa Erba and the glassy stillness of Lake Como, the couple welcomed guests into a setting that felt like something out of a timeless film. Stefano’s Italian roots gave the location meaning, while the villa’s soaring ceilings, golden frescoes, and formal gardens added a sense of occasion.
The atmosphere was polished but never stiff—vibrant, welcoming, and full of movement. Every element spoke to the couple’s style, blending character and refinement with ease.
The aesthetic was clean and confident—white florals, sculptural lines, and golden interiors. A ceremony arch framed the lake like a painting. Inside, candlelight reflected off centuries-old frescoes. Every space was designed to feel open, elegant, and alive. Modern elements met timeless beauty without trying too hard.

As violins played and the lake shimmered behind them, Hawa walked the white aisle with the grace of a film heroine, arm in arm with her grandfather. Vows were exchanged in two languages, with quiet emotion and absolute presence. Before the reception, the couple took a private boat ride—just the two of them and the camera—capturing a moment of stillness on the water.
Back at Villa Erba, the celebration came to life. Beneath its towering ceilings and frescoed walls, guests were welcomed to long tables set with classic white florals and candlelight. The atmosphere was both elegant and full of warmth—refined, joyful, and deeply loved by the family.
At sunset, the atmosphere shifted. Afro-inspired beats and soulful melodies filled the air, carried by live violin, saxophone, and a DJ who set the evening’s rhythm. The mood was light, celebratory, and full of energy. Guests danced freely, their laughter and movement spilling across the villa’s grand halls and terraces. Hawa changed into a second look, and what began as a classic first dance soon blossomed into a lively celebration under the stars, with everyone joining in the joy.
Later, the traditional millefoglie cake—simply adorned with fresh berries—was brought forward. As the couple cut the cake, sparklers ignited around them, sending shimmering light into the night sky. The fireworks created a magical backdrop, turning the moment into a radiant highlight of the evening. It was a joyful, heartfelt scene—unforced and unforgettable—that quietly closed the night on a perfect note, reflecting the couple’s elegant yet vibrant style.
